About this fabric

The close, even pile gives this colourway a smooth velvet face, while the folds reveal darker bands where the nap changes direction. Its blue-teal tone is cooler and more saturated than a conventional grey-blue, bringing depth without a bright or glossy finish. Made from 100% polyester, it is approximately 137cm wide and specified for Fixed Upholstery. The fabric is graded for Contract and General Domestic use; allow 3% shrinkage, with Delicate Wash 30°C and Dry Clean listed for care.

How to use it

Use this deep steel-blue teal on a sofa, dining chair or headboard to create a cool, enveloping focal point. Pair it with pale stone, warm timber and brushed metal so the velvet’s changing shadow remains visible.
