About this fabric

Across the swatch, a deep midnight-blue field carries a large tonal damask of curling leaves and rounded floral forms; the motifs appear slightly lighter where the weave catches the light. The fine woven surface has a close, subtly crosshatched texture rather than a glossy pile. At approximately 137cm wide, Miletto is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery in Contract and General Domestic settings. It is made from 33% linen and 67% viscose and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use the near-black navy tone to give full-length curtains a quiet, enveloping depth, or bring the large damask onto a tailored chair or sofa. Its restrained tonal contrast works especially well with cool stone, charcoal and aged metal accents.

A deep tonal damask for composed curtains and tailored fixed upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Miletto Midnight without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
