About this fabric

This plain velvet reads as a richly toned denim blue, with darker navy shading in the nap and a muted blue sheen where the light catches the pile. Its smooth, softly reflective surface gives upholstered forms a neat but tactile finish without a visible motif. Made from 100% polyester and approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery in contract and general domestic settings. Allow 3% shrinkage; care is by delicate wash at 30°C or dry cleaning, with no tumble drying.

How to use it

Use this cool denim-blue velvet on a structured sofa, dining chair or occasional seat to bring depth without the formality of near-black upholstery. Pair it with pale timber, chalky neutrals or warm brass to balance its blue-teal undertone.
