About this fabric

This plain velvet reads as an inky blue-black, with cool charcoal highlights appearing where the nap catches the light and deeper shadow through the folds. Made from 100% polyester and approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery in Contract and General Domestic settings. The fine, close pile gives the surface a smooth plushness while retaining the understated character of this dark Nightfall colourway. Care instructions are Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean; allow 3% shrinkage.

How to use it

Use Nightfall on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair when a room needs a near-black anchor with a cooler blue-green cast. Balance its depth with pale timber, warm ivory, brushed metal or softly contrasting neutral textiles.
