Moleskin Velvet Dusk is a rich, dark blue-teal velvet with a softly changing surface where the nap catches the light. The plain face appears almost petrol-toned in the deeper folds of the photographed swatch.

About this fabric

This plain velvet has a dense, plush-looking surface and a cool blue-teal tone that shifts subtly between softened teal and near-navy shadow. Its smooth nap reflects light along the raised folds while retaining a deep, saturated appearance across the flatter areas. Made from 100% polyester and approximately 137cm wide, it is suitable for fixed upholstery in contract and general domestic settings. Allow 3% shrinkage; care is by delicate wash at 30°C or dry clean, with dry lining and no tumble drying.

How to use it

Use Dusk on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its deep blue-teal colour can anchor pale neutrals, warm timber and brushed metal. Its plush surface also suits a darker, cocooning scheme built around ink, charcoal and muted blue-green tones.

Use this deep blue-teal velvet to bring saturated colour and soft, tactile depth to upholstered seating.
