About this fabric

This plain velvet is supplied at approximately 137cm wide and is specified for fixed upholstery, making it suitable for Contract and General Domestic settings. Its composition is 100% polyester, with an allowance for 3% shrinkage. Granite reads as a cool, dark grey with near-black depth in the fold and softer graphite highlights across the raised pile. Care guidance is a delicate wash at 30°C or dry cleaning; do not tumble dry and allow 3% shrinkage.

How to use it

Use Granite on a tailored sofa, dining chair or upholstered headboard where its cool charcoal tone can anchor pale stone, warm wood and brushed-metal finishes. Its low-contrast surface variation adds depth without introducing a visible motif.

Use this deep charcoal velvet to bring a low-lit, tactile finish to sofas, headboards and occasional chairs.
