Moleskin Velvet Sea Salt is a quiet, cool grey velvet with a lightly mottled surface created by its soft nap. The folded swatch shows the shade shifting from pale sea-salt grey to deeper charcoal-grey in the shadows.

About this fabric

This plain velvet has a softly brushed appearance, with the pile catching the light across the open areas and darkening noticeably along the fold. Its sea-salt tone sits between pale grey and gentle taupe, giving the colour a muted, mineral quality rather than a crisp silver finish. Made from 100% polyester and approximately 137cm wide, it is supplied for fixed upholstery. The fabric is graded for Contract and General Domestic use, with care listed as Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean; allow 3% shrinkage.

How to use it

Use Sea Salt on a compact sofa, dining chair or upholstered headboard where its cool grey tone can soften darker timber, charcoal accents and warm neutral walls. Directional light will bring out the velvet's subtle nap and fold-shaded depth.

Use this cool, softly shaded grey velvet to bring calm depth to upholstered seating and headboards.
