About this fabric

The close, plush pile creates a smooth velvet surface with a subtle directional sheen, visible in the swatch’s darker folded areas and softly illuminated face. This plain colourway sits between blue and teal, with a desaturated, mineral-like tone rather than a bright or saturated blue. At approximately 137cm wide, it is made from 100% polyester and is specified for Fixed Upholstery. It is suitable for Contract and General Domestic use; allow 3% shrinkage, with Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean care listed.

How to use it

Use Sky on a contemporary armchair, sofa or headboard where its cool blue-teal tone can add depth without overpowering a room. Pair it with pale stone, warm timber and brushed metal to balance the velvet’s soft sheen.
