Moleskin Velvet Fern
Moleskin Velvet Velvet018
Moleskin Velvet Fern is a deep olive-green velvet with a softly brushed surface and subtle tonal variation across the folds. Its dark fern tone appears cooler in the shadowed pile and gently catches the light along raised areas.

About this fabric
This plain Linwood velvet is made from 100% polyester and measures approximately 137cm wide. The dense-looking surface shows no printed motif, allowing the nap and diagonal folds to create the visible movement and depth. Moleskin Velvet Fern is supplied for Fixed Upholstery and is graded for Contract and General Domestic use. Care instructions specify a Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean, with up to 3% shrinkage allowed.
How to use it
Use this deep fern-olive shade on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its changing pile can add depth without introducing a pattern. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and softly chalky neutrals to balance its cool, grounded green tone.
A deep fern-olive velvet with a softly shifting pile that brings quiet depth to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with
Moleskin Velvet Fern is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
