About this fabric

This colourway has a saturated yet softened coral character, sitting between warm red and dusty pink rather than reading as a bright orange. Its plain surface is visibly plush, with the velvet pile creating darker bands where the fabric curves and a gentle glow on the raised areas. Made from 100% polyester and approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery and carries Contract and General Domestic grades. Care is listed as a delicate wash at 30°C or dry clean, with an allowance of 3% shrinkage.

How to use it

Use Coral on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its warm red-pink depth can become the room’s focal colour. Balance the shade with pale stone, aged brass, dark walnut or muted olive for contrast against its velvety sheen.

Use this warm coral velvet to bring rich colour and a softly tactile finish to upholstered seating, with brass, walnut or earthy neutral accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
