Miletto Damson

Miletto Fabric011

Miletto Damson presents a softly shaded damask in a deep, muted red with burgundy and dusky pink undertones. Its tonal scrolling pattern emerges through the woven surface rather than contrasting sharply with it.

About this fabric

The close-up shows curling floral and foliate damask motifs layered across a finely grained weave, with the pattern shifting subtly between darker burgundy lines and the dusty damson ground. Composed of 33% linen and 67% viscose, the 137cm-wide fabric has enough visual structure for the design to read clearly while retaining a softly handled appearance. Miletto is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery and is graded for Contract and General Domestic use. After-care is dry clean only.

How to use it

Use this damson colourway on a traditionally shaped chair or sofa where its deep red tone can anchor a room, or make full curtains for a more enveloping, quietly formal effect. Pair it with warm neutrals, aged timber and dusty blush accents to pick up the woven tonal variation.

A muted damson damask for curtains and fixed upholstery, bringing tonal pattern and restrained warmth to a room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Miletto Damson without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
