About this fabric
Part of the Rivoli III collection by Manuel Canovas, Rivoli Garance is composed of 93% cotton and 7% modal, giving the cloth a smooth, softly lustrous handle in a substantial 140cm width. The design has a 0cm vertical and horizontal repeat, so the focus stays on the depth of the colour rather than pattern. In this swatch the shade sits between garnet and dark claret, with a warm red-brown undertone that darkens toward the edges and glows slightly where the light catches it. The surface looks fine and even, with just enough texture to keep the plain finish from feeling flat.
How to use it
Use this colourway on a close-fitting chair, banquette or curtain where its deep red can add warmth without looking bright. It pairs well with dark timber, brass and softer neutrals that let the rich tone stay grounded.
