Carsina Red

Belvedere FabricF4710-03

Carsina Red is a lively coral-red colourway with an ornate paisley-damask feel and a clear decorative rhythm across the cloth. The pattern sits brightly on the ground, with fine outline work and jewel-like accents that keep the design animated rather than heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in a 41% viscose, 33% linen and 26% cotton blend, this fabric has the character of a decorative textile with enough body for structured soft furnishings. The repeat is large at approximately V 78cm / H 61cm, and the 123cm width supports generous pattern placement. In this colourway the red reads warm and slightly coral, lifted by touches of pink, gold, green and indigo that sharpen the scrolling motif. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Carsina Red for curtains or statement cushions where its coral-red ground can bring warmth without feeling too dark. It works especially well with walnut, aged brass and creamy neutrals, letting the multicoloured embroidery-style detailing stay centre stage.

Pairs well with warm woods and upholstered pieces in quiet neutrals.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Carsina Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
