About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this Braganza fabric has a dry, lightly textured handle that suits curtains as well as softer upholstery schemes. The repeat is approximately V 43cm / H 33cm, and the 139cm width gives the pattern room to breathe across larger pieces. In this colourway, the red reads as a muted dusty rose rather than a bright crimson, with the motif lifted in chalky cream and warm putty tones. The result is elegant and settled, with enough contrast to show the damask clearly without feeling sharp. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Irwin Red where you want a traditional pattern to feel gentler and more layered, especially against parchment walls, oak, and aged brass. Its softened rose-red ground works well in rooms that need warmth without the heaviness of a deeper red.
