Irwin Blue

Braganza FabricF4818-01

Irwin Blue shows a softly faded damask pattern with a cool blue-grey ground and pale, chalky detailing. The overall effect is airy and understated, with the motif sitting quietly rather than sharply against the linen.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this Braganza fabric has a dry, natural handle that suits curtains as well as lighter upholstery use. The design repeats at V 43cm and H 33cm approx, creating a balanced damask layout with a generous, decorative scale. In this colourway, the blue reads muted and misty rather than bright, while the ivory and blush-toned outlines soften the pattern and give it a gently worn, heritage feel. At 139cm approx wide, it offers practical coverage for a range of interior projects, and the listed care code is Q 8 + T 3 with fire code √BM.

How to use it

Use Irwin Blue for relaxed formal drapes, blind panels or upholstered accent pieces where a cool, elegant pattern is wanted. It works especially well with pale oak, plaster pinks and aged brass, which play into its calm blue-grey tone.

Pair with chalky linens and pale woods for a calm, elegant look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
