Yasamin Old Blue

Belvedere FabricF4743-02

Yasamin Old Blue has the gentle, time-softened look of an old-world damask, with pale blue motifs sitting against a warm ivory ground. The repeating lattice reads airy rather than heavy, giving the design a calm, graceful rhythm.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has a natural matte handle that suits the slightly faded character of the pattern. The design repeats at approximately V 68cm / H 70cm and across 140cm widths, so the large-scale motif has room to open out cleanly on drapes or structured decorative pieces. In Old Blue, the palette blends dusty sky blue with sage-tinged accents and soft beige outlining, which keeps the surface light and restrained rather than vivid. The overall effect is decorative but relaxed, with enough pattern presence to anchor a room without feeling heavy.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want pattern with a cool, understated edge: it works beautifully at a window against limewashed walls, pale timber, or painted millwork. The muted blue tones also make it an easy bridge between cream upholstery and softer green accents.

A quietly elegant linen with a faded blue-and-sage palette that suits tailored curtains or light upholstery schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Yasamin Old Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
