Delgado Tomato/Sage

Belvedere FabricF4747-03

Delgado Tomato/Sage is a vivid striped fabric with a softly worn, tapestry-like feel. The coral tomato reds and muted sage greens sit against pale ground tones, giving the design a fresh but gently aged look.

About this fabric

Woven in 80% viscose and 20% linen, Delgado has a smooth hand with enough structure for upholstery or drapery, and the 138cm width makes it practical for larger workrooms. The vertical repeat is approximately 25cm, with a horizontal repeat of 69cm, and the pattern reads as alternating narrow decorative bands and bolder geometric stripes. In this colourway, the tomato pink feels warm and lively rather than bright, while the sage stays soft and slightly dusty, which keeps the whole surface from looking too crisp. The visible weave has a light, refined texture that suits the intricate ikat-style motifs and slender bordering stripes.

How to use it

This colourway works well in rooms that can take a little energy, especially against painted woodwork, pale plaster, or natural timber. It would make strong curtains, a feature chair, or accent cushions where the coral and sage stripes can be seen clearly.

Use it for lively cushions or statement curtains where the vintage stripe can breathe.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Delgado Tomato/Sage without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
