Sintra Red

Belvedere FabricF4718-03

Sintra Red brings a warm coral-red ground to Belvedere’s intricate geometric repeat, with pale teal, taupe and ink accents lifting the pattern. The overall effect is lively but tailored, with a softened, lived-in finish rather than a hard-edged brightness.

About this fabric

Woven in a practical blend of 29% cotton, 25% linen, 24% polyester and 22% viscose, this fabric has a balanced handle suited to both upholstery and drapery. The repeat is approximately V 29cm / H 43cm, and the pattern reads clearly across the 130cm width without feeling oversized. In this colourway, the red sits in the coral-to-terracotta range, tempered by dusky blue-green outlines and small pale motifs that add depth. The result is a smart decorative fabric with enough structure for seating and enough movement in the colour to work beautifully at the window.

How to use it

Pair Sintra Red with oak, walnut or dark painted wood to draw out its warm coral notes. It also sits well with aged brass and muted blue-green accents, echoing the cooler detailing in the pattern.

Use to add warmth and pattern without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
