About this fabric

Jessamine Red/Green from the Braganza collection by Colefax and Fowler is a fabric with a generous repeat of approximately V 77cm / H 67cm and a width of approximately 134cm. Its composition of 57% Linen, 32% Viscose, 7% Cotton and 4% Polyester gives the cloth a natural-looking base with a subtle softness in the finish. In this colourway, the floral motif reads in layered rose reds and pale pinks, balanced by sage, olive and yellow-green leaves against an ivory ground. The overall effect is detailed and lively rather than dark, with enough body to suit furnishing as well as window use.

How to use it

This colourway works well in rooms that need pattern and warmth without heavy saturation, especially against painted timber, pale stone or muted green accents. Pair it with simple upholstery or relaxed curtains so the rose-red flowers remain the focal point.

Use with plain linens or velvets to let the embroidered-look blooms and leafy green tones stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
