Brett Red shows a finely textured chevron weave in a warm coral-red palette, with lighter yarns that lift the surface and keep the design from feeling too heavy.

About this fabric

This colourway has a softly saturated coral-red ground, crossed with pale neutral yarns that create a crisp herringbone/chevron rhythm across the cloth. The overall effect is warm and sun-faded rather than bold, with the weave reading clearly at close range and giving the surface a lightly tactile, tailored character. It is a 140cm-wide fabric with a repeat of approximately V 12cm / H 7cm, and its composition of 39% viscose, 28% cotton, 15% linen, 10% polyester, 6% acrylic and 2% polyamide gives it a balanced, fabric-led hand. With no performance features noted and fire code √BM, it feels suited to schemes where a decorative woven is wanted without shine or fuss.

How to use it

Use Brett Red on a pair of upholstered dining chairs or a tailored armchair to bring warmth without overwhelming the room. It also works well as a window treatment in rooms with oak, plaster, or natural linen, where the coral-red tone can glow against calmer neutrals.

A warm coral-red weave that softens structured seating or adds quiet depth at the window.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
