Braganza FabricF4817-02

Tait Stripe Red/Green combines a narrow decorative stripe with a broader, lighter ground stripe for a crisp, columnar effect. The palette reads as warm brick red with olive green accents on a natural linen base.

About this fabric

Part of the Braganza collection by Colefax and Fowler, this fabric is woven in 100% linen with a width of approximately 135cm and a vertical repeat of about 26cm. The stripe design alternates slender patterned bands with wider plain fields, giving the cloth a disciplined, architectural feel. In this colourway the reds are earthy rather than bright, with softened green detailing that keeps the overall look grounded and slightly faded. The linen surface shows a dry, textural handle that adds to the relaxed, timeless character of the design. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

This red-and-green stripe works well on upholstered dining chairs, bench seating, or tailored curtains where the vertical pattern can elongate the space. Pair it with quiet neutrals, aged wood, or painted finishes to let the brick red tones stay warm and settled.

Use for tailored upholstery or statement curtains where the striped rhythm can lead the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
