Colefax and Fowler

Rowley Red/Green

Braganza FabricF4798-01

Rowley Red/Green shows a lively coral-red lattice softened by cream outlines and small olive-green centres. The woven surface gives the pattern a clear, tailored rhythm without feeling hard or glossy.

About this fabric

This fabric is from the Braganza collection by Colefax and Fowler and is woven in a 60% Linen, 29% Viscose, 11% Polyester blend. The repeat is approx. V 39cm / H 130cm on a width of approx. 130cm, giving the diamond motif a broad, structured cadence across the cloth. In this colourway, the red reads as a warm coral rather than a deep brick, so the design feels brighter and more relaxed, while the olive notes add a restrained, classical contrast. The surface has a softly textured, slightly nubby look that suits a decorative upholstery piece as well as curtains where a clear pattern repeat is wanted. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use it on a statement armchair, banquette or cushions where the coral ground can lift a room without overpowering it. It also works well with chalky neutrals, aged brass and muted green accents to echo the centre detail.

Pair with linen plains and warm wood for a tailored, inviting finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
