Tait Stripe Old Blue

Braganza FabricF4817-03

Tait Stripe Old Blue pairs a faded blue stripe with a pale, airy ground, giving the design a calm, lightly aged look. The narrow decorative bands keep the overall effect refined rather than bold.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has the relaxed handle and natural texture expected of a linen cloth, with an approx. 135cm width and a vertical repeat of 26cm and horizontal repeat of 45cm. The stripe is a washed, slightly dusty blue, softened by cream and whispery beige accents that keep the pattern gentle and understated. A fine decorative band alternates with a more ornate foliate stripe, so the design reads as crisp and orderly from a distance but detailed up close. The palette feels cool, muted and quietly traditional, with the blue sitting low in contrast against the light ground. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

This old blue colourway suits pale timber, chalky paintwork and rooms that need pattern without heaviness. Use it for curtains, blinds or neat upholstery pieces where the soft blue note can settle into a classic scheme.

Use for elegant curtains or tailored upholstery where the pale blue stripe can read quietly against the neutral ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
