Erin Blue

Brett Weaves FabricF4642-03

Erin Blue is a softly striated weave with a cool blue-grey ground and darker navy accents running through the cloth. The repeating zigzag bands give it a calm, rhythmic look with a gently tailored feel.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted blue-grey base threaded with sage-leaning green and charcoal stripes, creating a subtle, variegated surface rather than a flat colour. The zigzag weave reads crisp at a distance and more textural up close, with the lighter yarns softening the darker bands. Made in a 142cm approx width and woven from 52% viscose, 24% polyester, 15% linen and 9% cotton, it has the balanced handle of a decorative fabric that can suit either upholstery or drapery. The V 13cm / H 5cm approx repeat keeps the pattern ordered and regular, while the Q 8 < T 3 care code and √BM fire code are useful practical points for specification-led schemes.

How to use it

Use Erin Blue on a slipper chair, banquette or Roman blind where the striped zigzag can read clearly. Its cool, weathered palette sits well with pale oak, chalky neutrals and deeper navy trims.

A cool striped weave that works well on tailored upholstery or understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
