About this fabric

Part of the Brett Weaves collection by Colefax and Fowler, Foley Pewter is a 142cm-wide fabric with a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm approx, so the focus stays on its understated woven texture. Its composition of 46% Cotton, 32% Viscose, 18% Linen and 4% Polyester gives the cloth a natural, lightly irregular handle that shows in the subtle flecked surface. The pewter tone sits between grey and stone, with a cool cast and just enough warmth in the blend to stop it feeling harsh. With no performance features noted and a clean, versatile weave, it has the balanced look of a fabric that can sit comfortably on upholstery or soft furnishings.

How to use it

Use Foley Pewter on a tailored armchair, banquette or relaxed curtains where its soft grey tone can bridge warm woods and pale painted finishes. It is especially effective in calm, layered schemes that need a neutral with more texture than a plain dye.
