About this fabric

This Wembury Silver colourway has a light, airy silver-grey appearance with a faint warm cast that keeps it from looking icy. The visible weave is understated and slightly nubby, with the linen and viscose blend giving a soft, dry hand and a calm, matte-lustre finish. As supplied, it is 146cm wide and composed of 44% viscose, 40% linen, 10% cotton and 6% polyester, with a 0cm vertical and horizontal repeat. The plain surface and balanced cloth make it an easy choice where you want texture and light reflection without a marked pattern.

How to use it

Use it on upholstered dining chairs, a headboard or a tailored sofa where the pale silver tone can lift darker woods and stone. It also suits relaxed curtains, especially in rooms that need a fresh neutral with a slightly polished edge.

A quiet metallic-neutral that works beautifully in tailored upholstery or refined curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
