About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted, cool-leaning green with a misty grey undertone, so it feels calmer than a bright leaf shade and less heavy than a deep woodland tone. The cloth has a fine, lightly slubbed texture that is visible across the surface, helped by its linen-rich composition of 44% viscose, 40% linen, 10% cotton and 6% polyester. At approximately 146cm wide and with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it is a straightforward plain cloth that will upholster cleanly and also hang well as drapery. The overall effect is understated and natural, with just enough body and texture to stop the green from feeling flat.

How to use it

Use it on occasional seating, tailored cushions or relaxed curtains where the soft forest tone can sit against pale oak, stone and putty neutrals. It is especially effective in rooms that need colour without glare, as the greyed green reads calm in both daylight and lamplight.

A calm green with a linen-rich, lightly textured finish that works neatly across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
