About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Ashmead Forest has the dry, natural handle you expect from a classic furnishing cloth, with a width of approximately 135cm and a vertical and horizontal repeat of approximately 15cm. The print reads as a fine, repeating trail of rounded leaf-like forms and dotted arcs, set in muted green against a warm oatmeal-flax background. That contrast is calm rather than sharp, giving the design a softened, slightly aged character. Its light-to-mid weight appearance makes it versatile for both upholstery and drapery, especially where a relaxed, country-house note is wanted.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, loose cover, or Roman blind to bring in the green without overpowering the room. The muted flax ground sits well with timber, painted joinery, and deeper botanical accents.

A fresh block-print linen that brings an easy, heritage feel to schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ashmead Forest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
