About this fabric

This fabric is from the Bampton collection by Colefax and Fowler and is a 142cm wide textile with a repeat of approximately V 12cm and H 36cm. Its composition of 34% Linen, 28% Viscose, 22% Polyester and 16% Cotton gives the surface a softly woven handle with enough body for versatile interior use. In this colourway, the small-scale damask appears in a muted sage green that is gently weathered rather than vivid, so the motif feels refined and easy to live with. The pale ground keeps the overall effect light and airy, while the green pattern adds just enough contrast to register clearly without becoming busy.

How to use it

Use it on upholstered dining chairs, a bedroom headboard or tailored curtains where the soft sage pattern can add interest without overpowering the room. It pairs especially well with painted whites, weathered oak and deeper olive accents.

A gentle sage tone that reads calm and tailored, ideal for classic schemes needing subtle pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
