Baxter Forest

Bampton FabricF4886-04

Baxter Forest presents a finely scaled animal spot in a soft, muted green against a pale ground. The pattern reads crisp and understated, giving the colourway a calm woodland feel rather than a high-contrast leopard effect.

About this fabric

This fabric is 59% viscose, 25% linen, 11% cotton, 3% acrylic and 2% polyester, with a repeat of V 18cm / H 23cm approx and a width of 142cm approx. The cloth has a lightly textured, woven look that keeps the small irregular spots from feeling glossy or hard-edged. In this Forest colourway, the motif sits in a greyed green tone that feels fresh but subdued, with enough depth to show clearly across the pale background. The overall effect is smart and versatile, with the pattern detail staying visible without overpowering the room.

How to use it

Use Baxter Forest on a clean-lined armchair or banquette where the small-scale repeat can add movement without dominating. It also works well for curtains or blinds in a room with natural wood, putty, or chalky paint finishes.

A restrained green spot for tailored upholstery or softly structured curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Baxter Forest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
