Berenson Beige

Bampton FabricF4885-05

Berenson Beige shows the Bampton design in a light, softly warmed beige with a fine woven texture and a restrained geometric feel. The pale ground keeps the pattern subtle, so the surface reads calm and airy rather than busy.

About this fabric

This fabric is composed of 46% Cotton, 17% Viscose, 15% Polyester, 14% Linen and 8% Wool, giving the cloth a balanced, slightly dry handle with a gentle natural texture visible in the weave. The repeat is V 7cm / H 5cm approx, and the small geometric motif is softened by the colourway so it sits quietly across the cloth. At 140cm approx wide, Berenson Beige is well suited to furnishing projects where a measured, tailored look is wanted. The beige tone has a warm, chalky depth rather than a sharp cream finish, which helps the pattern blend into the background.

How to use it

Use this soft beige on a sofa or armchair if you want pattern without contrast, or hang it at the windows where the light will bring out the woven texture. It works especially well with oak, stone and muted brown accents.

A quietly tailored beige that suits both upholstery and drapery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Berenson Beige without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
