Berenson Sand

Bampton FabricF4885-06

Berenson Sand is a softly mottled neutral with a calm, sandy warmth and a fine, close texture that reads understated rather than flat. The weave gives the surface a gentle grain, with just enough depth to keep the colour alive in changing light.

About this fabric

This Bampton fabric from Colefax and Fowler has a restrained, evenly textured face that suits both upholstery and curtains, with the mid-weight handle suggested by its 46% cotton, 17% viscose, 15% polyester, 14% linen and 8% wool composition. The sand colourway is a muted beige with a warm, slightly oatmeal undertone, lifted by tiny flecks and weave variation rather than obvious contrast. At approximately 140cm wide, it is a practical choice for tailored furnishings, while the repeat of about V 7cm / H 5cm gives the surface a subtle regularity without feeling busy. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Berenson Sand where you want a quiet backdrop that still has texture, especially on clean-lined upholstery or relaxed curtains. Its warm beige tone pairs naturally with oak, chalk white and softened sage, and it brings a gentle warmth to cooler interiors.

A quietly warm neutral that works beautifully across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
