About this fabric

Foley Beige from the Brett Weaves collection by Colefax and Fowler has a subtly speckled, textural look that reads as warm beige with faint oat and stone tones. The cloth is woven with no repeat, which suits the understated, all-over character visible in the swatch. At approximately 142cm wide, and made from 46% cotton, 32% viscose, 18% linen and 4% polyester, it has the natural character of cotton and linen softened by viscose. The finish feels quietly smart and easy to layer, with tiny slubs and mixed fibres catching the light across the surface. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for interiors where a refined, natural neutral is the aim.

How to use it

Use this beige in rooms that need warmth without heaviness: it sits well on relaxed upholstered pieces, tailored cushions or simple curtains. The muted tone works especially well with timber, chalky white and deeper brown accents.

A quietly tailored neutral that works beautifully across upholstery and drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
