Brett Weaves FabricF4633-06

Foley Silver is a softly mottled silver-grey weave with a calm, understated surface. The finish reads cool and lightly textured, with the yarns giving it a linen-like depth.

About this fabric

From the Brett Weaves collection by Colefax and Fowler, Foley Silver is a fabric with no visible repeat, making the restrained woven texture the main feature. The cloth is 142cm wide approximately and composed of 46% cotton, 32% viscose, 18% linen and 4% polyester, giving it a dry, natural-looking handle with a little extra softness in the finish. In the image, the colour sits between pale grey and dove silver, with tiny flecks and slubs that stop it looking flat. It feels smart rather than stark, and the subtle variation across the weave gives the shade a gentle, tailored depth. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Foley Silver on clean-lined upholstery, loose covers or occasional chairs where its pale grey tone can lift the room without reading cold. It also suits neutral curtains and Roman blinds when you want texture more than pattern.

A quietly refined silver-grey weave that works beautifully across seating and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
