Carbery Slate

Casey FabricF4731-05

Carbery Slate has a low-key, horizontal striation that gives the surface a quietly tailored look. The colour reads as a muted slate grey with a subtle olive undertone and a softly mottled finish.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a fine, linen-rich texture with narrow horizontal bands and a gently slubbed surface that catches the light without shine. The slate tone is cool and restrained, but the woven mix softens it with an earthy, slightly green cast rather than a hard blue-grey. At approx. 140cm wide, and with a composition of 44% viscose, 28% linen, 24% cotton and 4% polyester, it feels like a versatile upholstery or curtain cloth for schemes that need calm depth. The repeat is vertical 0cm / horizontal 0cm approx., so the texture reads as a continuous weave rather than a patterned repeat. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √CH are also noted for specification reference.

How to use it

Use Carbery Slate on an upholstered armchair, sofa or window treatment where you want a grounded neutral with more character than a plain grey. It works especially well alongside chalky whites, smoked oak and muted green accents.

A cool, understated slate that pairs well with dark timber, pale linen and brushed metal finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
