Carbery Aqua

Casey FabricF4731-06

Carbery Aqua has a cool, washed aqua-grey look with a subtle horizontal striation that gives the surface a quiet, woven movement. The effect is softly textured rather than bold, with the lighter ground keeping the colourway airy.

About this fabric

Carbery Aqua from Colefax and Fowler’s Casey collection is a fabric with a gentle, slubbed surface and a restrained horizontal pattern that reads almost like fine woven bands. The colour sits between pale aqua, misty grey and a trace of sage, so it feels cooler and more subdued than a bright blue. Its 140cm approximate width and composition of 44% viscose, 28% linen, 24% cotton and 4% polyester make it a versatile cloth with a natural-looking handle and a little added stability. With no repeat in either direction, it is easy to plan for and suited to clean, tailored schemes.

How to use it

Use this colourway on an upholstered chair, banquette or headboard where its cool, muted tone can soften wood and stone. It also works well with pale oak, chalky whites and deeper blue-grey accents.

A cool, softly striated aqua-grey that works neatly across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
