About this fabric
From Colefax and Fowler’s Chester collection, this fabric is composed of 64% viscose, 21% linen, 8% cotton, 4% polyamide and 3% polyacrylic, with a width of approximately 144cm and a repeat of about 4cm both vertically and horizontally. The swatch shows a tiny lattice-like diamond motif worked in a muted aqua-blue tone over a slightly warmer pale base, giving the surface a quiet tonal movement. Its close weave and refined texture read as a versatile mid-weight cloth, suitable for either upholstery or drapery. The colourway feels cool and airy, but with enough softness in the blend to keep it from looking stark.
How to use it
Use Clancey Aqua to lighten a wood-lined room, or pair it with chalky neutrals and pale oak for a fresh, understated scheme. The small geometric pattern works especially well where you want texture without visual noise.
