Viggo Azur

Viggo FabricM4132-17

Viggo Azur reads as a softly mottled aqua-blue weave, with a fine, small-scale texture that gives the surface gentle depth. Its cool, light colouring feels fresh rather than bright, with pale neutral threads softening the blue.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric is a 140cm-wide textile woven in 39% viscose, 37% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester, with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx. The close weave gives Viggo Azur a discreet, textural finish rather than a defined pattern, and the colour sits between pale blue and aqua with a slightly chalky, cooled-off quality. Fine speckling in the weave keeps the shade from looking flat, while the linen and cotton content helps the surface feel natural and lightly nubby. It is a versatile cloth with enough body for upholstery, yet a refined enough handle for drapery as well.

How to use it

Use this soft aqua tone to lift neutral upholstery, or pair it with pale oak, linen-white and brushed metal for a calm, tailored scheme. It also works well as a cooling accent against sand, stone and grey finishes.

A calm blue-toned weave that works neatly across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
