About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this Portland fabric has a 137cm usable width and a 35cm horizontal pattern repeat, making the stripe sit in a steady, orderly rhythm across the cloth. The visible colourway pairs a cool aqua blue line with a light neutral ground, giving the design a crisp, airy feel rather than a strong nautical contrast. With a Heavy Domestic upholstery grade and a 30,000 Martindale rating, it is practical enough for seating as well as curtains and accessories. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, so the clean striped look can be carried through both decorative and more functional schemes.

How to use it

Use it on a neat occasional chair, Roman blind or tailored cushions where the slim aqua stripe can add structure without overpowering a room. It sits especially well with white-painted joinery, bleached woods and other cool, coastal-leaning neutrals.
