About this fabric

Woven in 54% viscose and 46% polyester, this iliv velvet has the substance and handle expected of a severe contract cloth, with a 100,000 Martindale rating and a usable width of 138 cm. The pattern repeat is 18 cm horizontally and 17 cm vertically, creating a large, repeating geometric layout that reads clearly at scale. In this Midnight colourway, the navy areas feel almost ink-like against the creamy white fields, while the fine orange and pale blue striping adds a sharper, tailored edge. Treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, it is suited to projects that need both visual impact and practical specification.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, banquette or ottoman where the dark ground can anchor a room and the pale blocks keep it from feeling too heavy. It also makes a dramatic curtain or full-height blind in schemes with warm timber, ivory paint or brushed brass.
