About this fabric

This colourway combines burnt sienna spots with sage-olive accents over a pale neutral ground, so the design reads warm, textured and slightly retro rather than bright. The velvet finish brings a soft directional lustre, which lifts the raised motif as the fabric moves through the light. Made from 54% viscose and 46% polyester, it is specified for Accessories, Drapery and Upholstery, with a usable width of 138cm. It carries a severe contract upholstery grade, a Martindale rating of 100,000, and is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, making it a practical decorative velvet as well as an eye-catching one.

How to use it

Use it on a statement chair, banquette or scatter cushions where the sienna and sage palette can add warmth without feeling heavy. It also works well as drapery in a room with stone, oak or muted green finishes, where the velvet sheen will pick up the changing light.

Pair it with warm woods and quiet neutrals to let the spotted velvet texture take the lead.
