Infinity Velvets Quantum Midnight Wavy

Infinity Velvets Velvet

Quantum Midnight Wavy shows a richly textured velvet surface in a deep midnight blue, broken by warm rust-orange accents and pale ground tones. The small, repeating motif gives the fabric a lively, almost rippling rhythm across the pile.

About this fabric

This Infinity velvet is woven in a 54% viscose and 46% polyester composition, giving the surface a soft, light-catching handle with a practical finish suitable for interior use. The design repeats across a compact 18 cm horizontal and 17 cm vertical pattern, and the small-scale motif reads clearly in the image as clustered navy blue and rust marks over a pale neutral ground. The colourway feels cooler overall, with the midnight blue leading the palette and the terracotta notes adding warmth and depth rather than brightness. With a usable width of 138 cm, a severe contract upholstery grade and a Martindale result of 100000, it is well suited to demanding upholstery as well as drapery and accessories when FR treatment is specified.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement chair, ottoman or curtain where the midnight blue can read as a dark anchor and the rust accents add movement. It sits especially well with walnut, smoked oak, oatmeal linens and bronze finishes.

Pair with warm neutrals or aged brass to bring out the deep navy and terracotta contrast.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
