About this fabric

This iliv velvet is woven in 54% viscose and 46% polyester, with a usable width of 138cm and a striking 18cm by 17cm repeat. The surface reads as plush and slightly lustrous, so the teal background shifts gently as it moves between light and shade. Its ochre-gold and blue motifs sit clearly on top of the pile, creating a busy but controlled pattern that feels both decorative and grounded. With a 100,000 Martindale rating, Severe Contract upholstery grade and treatment suitability for FR drapery and upholstery, it is a practical choice as well as a statement textile.

How to use it

Use this teal velvet on an accent chair, ottoman or tailored curtains where the warm gold detail can pick up brass, oak or walnut finishes. It works especially well in rooms with navy, stone or muted green accents, where the cooler base can balance the richer tones.
