Infinity Velvets Velvet

Infinity Velvets Quantum Azure Wavy pairs a softly sculpted velvet surface with a flowing, wave-like abstract pattern. In this colourway, cool azure accents sit against a muted sage ground for a fresh, gently weathered look.

About this fabric

Woven in a 54% viscose and 46% polyester composition, this velvet has the plush depth and light-catching surface you would expect from a decorative upholstery cloth. The pattern repeats every 18cm horizontally and 17cm vertically, creating a rhythmic, elongated texture that reads clearly across the cloth without feeling busy. Quantum Azure Wavy is shown here in a cool, airy blend of soft blue and sage green, with the velvet pile giving the motif a slightly shaded, tonal shimmer. With a 138cm usable width, 100000 Martindale abrasion resistance and a Severe Contract upholstery grade, it is well suited to demanding schemes, while being treatable for FR drapery and upholstery use.

How to use it

This blue-green colourway works beautifully with limestone, pale timber and faded denim tones, especially where you want colour that feels restful rather than bright. It also adds a soft, tailored lift to cushions, armchairs or full-height curtains in contemporary coastal or transitional interiors.

Use with pale oak, chalky neutrals or brushed brass for a calm, contemporary finish.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Infinity Velvets Quantum Azure Wavy without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
