Enchanted Garden Zaya Papaya Flat

SS22 Images - Enchanted Garden, Geometrica, Water Meadow & Portland Fabric

Enchanted Garden Zaya Papaya Flat shows a layered zigzag pattern in softened papaya, peach and cream tones. The overall effect is airy and warm, with the design reading as a relaxed geometric rather than a sharp graphic.

About this fabric

This colourway is printed on 100% polyester and has a usable width of 136cm, making the repeat easy to work with across larger pieces. The 50,000 Martindale rating and Severe Contract upholstery grade point to a hard-wearing cloth suitable for busy domestic or contract settings. Visually, the zigzag stripes are blurred by fine tonal shifts, so the papaya accents feel sun-faded rather than vivid, while the cream ground keeps the surface light. Treatable for FR Drapery and Upholstery, it offers flexibility for both window and seating projects where a warm, softly patterned finish is wanted.

How to use it

Pair this papaya palette with pale oak, rattan and chalky neutrals to keep the room light and calm. It also works well as a cheerful accent against warm white walls and natural linens, where the zigzag can add movement without overpowering the scheme.

Use it for statement upholstery or curtains where the warm, mottled zigzag can bring gentle colour without feeling loud.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
