About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric is composed of 60% linen, 30% cotton and 10% polyamide, with an approximate width of 141cm and a repeat of V 82cm / H 141cm. The ground is a washed aqua blue with a gently mottled look, so the printed branches, flowers and birds feel especially airy rather than bold. Soft pinks, fresh greens, teal blues and touches of warm brown sit clearly against the pale base, giving the design a bright but softened finish. It is a textile that reads as refined and decorative, with enough body for made-up window treatments and light upholstered pieces.

How to use it

The cool aqua ground works well in rooms with white-painted woodwork, pale timber and crisp linen, where the pattern can feel fresh rather than heavy. Pair it with blush, celadon and warm brass to echo the floral detail and keep the look elegant.
