About this fabric

This colourway shows a finely textured weave with a gentle speckled appearance, where the anis tone sits between pale yellow and fresh chartreuse. The surface has a dry, lightly slubby look that suits the 18% linen and cotton-rich blend, while the viscose adds a softer visual depth. At approximately 140cm wide, it is a practical cloth for schemes that need a restrained colour with character. With no repeat and no performance features noted, Viggo Anis keeps the focus on its understated texture and mellow, springlike colour.

How to use it

Use Anis to bring warmth to pared-back upholstery, especially against oak, pale plaster or stone. It also makes a lively but restrained drapery choice in rooms that need a touch of colour without heaviness.

A fresh anis tone that works well on clean-lined seating or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
