About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, Portland Aqua 2 is a versatile fabric with a usable width of 137cm and a 35cm horizontal pattern repeat. The stripe arrangement alternates pale, misty ground areas with deeper aqua and blue-green bands, creating a cool, coastal palette that feels airy rather than bright. Its 30,000 Martindale rating and Heavy Domestic upholstery grade make it suitable for everyday seating as well as curtains and accessories. The texture reads as a crisp woven cotton, with the darker central stripe adding visual depth and a slightly more structured finish.

How to use it

This soft aqua colourway works beautifully in light-filled rooms, especially with white, oak, or pale grey schemes. Use it on Roman blinds, occasional chairs or cushions to bring in a fresh, drawn-by-water accent.

Use it for fresh, tailored curtains or statement upholstery with a coastal feel.
