About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, Portland Grape 1 has a usable width of 137cm and a 35cm horizontal pattern repeat, making the stripe read in broad, regular bands across the cloth. The colourway combines a dusty grape-red stripe with a calm off-white ground, so the contrast feels refined rather than bright. The surface has a dry, woven character that keeps the stripe looking structured and smart. With Heavy Domestic upholstery grade and a Martindale rating of 30,000, it is suitable for upholstery as well as drapery, and it can be treated for FR use in both applications.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, Roman blind or relaxed curtains where the vertical stripe can add height and order. It works especially well with pale plaster, oak and muted berry accents.

Pair with warm neutrals and natural timber to let the softened grape stripe stand out.
