About this fabric

This iliv velvet from the Infinity collection combines 54% viscose with 46% polyester for a dense, luxurious handle and a distinctly lustrous pile. The surface shows an abstract wavy pattern with a pebble-like, cracked texture that creates movement across the cloth rather than a flat all-over colour. In this claret colourway, the red reads rich and saturated, with lighter ruby reflections where the pile is lifted and deeper burgundy shadow in the folds. With a 138cm usable width, 100000 Martindale rub test and Severe Contract upholstery grade, it is suited to hard-working interiors as well as FR-treatable drapery and upholstery applications.

How to use it

This deep claret works well on an accent chair, banquette or headboard where the textured pattern can be seen up close. Pair it with dark timber, brass and soft neutral walls to let the wine-red sheen feel even richer.

Use for statement seating or tailored drapery where you want a rich, textural finish.
